1. Make sure the angle grinder is unplugged and turned off before starting the installation process.
2. Select the appropriate grinding wheel for the job at hand. Check the wheel's size and RPM rating to ensure they match the grinder's specifications.
3. Secure the grinder's spindle lock button to prevent the spindle from turning.
4. Loosen the grinder's flange nut with a wrench in a counterclockwise direction.
5. Remove the old grinding wheel and inspect the spindle for any damage or debris.
6. Place the new grinding wheel onto the spindle and make sure its holes align with the threaded spindle.
7. Place the outer flange onto the spindle and thread the flange nut on by hand. Make sure it's evenly tightened.
8. Use a wrench to tighten the flange nut in a clockwise direction. Make sure it's fully tightened but not overly tightened.
9. Remove the spindle lock button and check the grinding wheel for any wobbling or vibration. If any issues are present, re-tighten and check again.
10. Test the grinder by turning it on and allowing the wheel to reach its maximum speed. Check for any unusual noises, vibrations, or problems with the wheel.
11. If everything looks good, the grinding wheel is properly installed and ready for use.
