How to distinguish the quality of diamond saw blade
First, observe the exposed emery on the cutter head to observe its concentration and distribution. Good diamond saw blades, the content of carborundum is not too small, but it should not be too much, and the dispersion is even
Second, look at the welding situation, you can start from two points. The first point is to observe whether the weld is complete and tidy. If the welding seam is not continuous, and the edge of the cutter head is not vertically aligned with the substrate water tank, it will affect chip removal and heat dissipation. And it may cause the cutter head to fall off. The second point is to hold the saw blade in your hand and observe whether the diamond blade and the base are aligned on the horizontal surface. If the blade is uneven and the dog teeth are staggered, it may cause the plate to collapse or even fall off during use.
Again, compare the thickness of the tip and the thickness of the substrate. Take the 350mm granite saw blade as an example. In general, the cutter head is about 1mm thicker than the base. The 350mm marble saw blade will be 0.2mm-0.5mm thicker than the base. The reason for this design is to avoid damage to the base and increase the life of the saw blade.
In addition, the sharpness and wear resistance of the saw blade will have a contradictory relationship. Our suggestion is that when the life of the saw blade reaches the expected target and the sharpness is moderate, do not ask to increase the life. Because the external environment, such as the cutting machine, the operation of the workers, the hardness of the stone, etc. will change at any time, and once the external environment changes, the original wear-resistant saw blade may not be used.
